AJ2013 - Dream It - Live It
Program

Camping together with 11,500 Scouts and Leaders from across Australia and the World is only part of the story, there’s also huge range of activities on offer at AJ2013 both at the Jamboree site and offsite.

On top of this there is a Jamboree Award that you can earn for taking part in the activities.  It’s something different at each Jamboree so we can’t tell you what the award is, but it’ll be something cool!

The theme of the Jamboree is Dream it Live it and the goal of the Program Team is to make every Scout’s dreams come to life.

At the Jamboree you will be part of a Jamboree Patrol, just like at your home Troop. As a member of a Jamboree Patrol you will participate in half day onsite activity 'zones' and full day offsite activities backed up at night by activities in the night time entertainment precinct.

Be warned, there is so much to do at AJ2013 that you may need to sleep for a week to catch up when you get home.

Download the standard AJ2013 Program Timetable or for Troops with 5 patrols download the alternative AJ2013 Timetable.

To whet your appetite for AJ2013 outlined below are some of what the AJ2013 Program has to offer.  The Program Team makes no apologies for all the mud and sand you will encounter while at AJ2013.

OffSite Activities

While at the Jamboree your patrol will go on four full day off site activities.

OnSite Activities:

While on site at the Jamboree your patrol will participate in 'OnSite Activity Zones' which are identified as half day blocks in your Patrol Program.

These Zones are:

Night Time Entertainment Precinct

Each evening, we will be encouraging an entertainment precinct which will be the “buzz zone”, with the energy of the site spreading from the main arena, up through the mall, to the big top.

Meanwhile, back in the campgrounds, frat tents will cater for Scouts who need to relax and slow down, with movies, board games and other low energy activities.
